Boardpath LLC (“Boardpath,” “we,” “us”) operates this website. You can reach us about this policy at info@boardpath.com.
What we collect
We collect information you choose to give us:
- Contact form and calls.Your name, email, organization, role, timing, and message, plus your phone number and chosen date and time when you book a call.
- Resources, newsletter, and waitlist.Your email address, the resources you request and download, download dates, and whether you asked for updates. We also collect your name, organization, and role if you provide them.
- Board Checkup.Your answers stay in your browser unless you ask us to email your results. If you choose that option, we receive and store your email address and twelve answers, calculate your scores, and email the results to you. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Our website and form records may include technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, and submission time. We use these records to operate the site, respond to requests, and investigate errors or misuse.
We send a resource link to confirm your email address. After you download through that link, a cookie remembers your access for 24 hours and lets us associate further downloads with your request. The cookie contains a random identifier, not your email address. A short-lived cookie also protects the confirmation step. You can remove these cookies through your browser settings.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to you, schedule and hold calls, deliver the resources you request, understand which resources interest you, send Board & Org if you subscribed, and keep records of our engagements.
Who we share it with
Our website uses Fluent Forms to collect inquiries, resource requests, and optional Board Checkup results-email requests; MailPoet to deliver email and manage newsletter subscriptions; and JetAppointment with Google Calendar for scheduling. These tools and our hosting provider process the information needed to provide those services.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@boardpath.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and engagement records for as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal and business obligations. We keep newsletter and resource contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please keep the details you send through this website general.
Children
This website is intended for adults who serve on or work with boards. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
